Leon Haslam

The Corsair's enemy/The "Pocket Rocket"

The son of Rocket Ron, Leon built his career on Superbikes. He made his debut in the British Championship series in 2003 and moved up to the World series with a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 in 2010. His riding skills were made clear immediately. In his debut race he beat Michel Fabrizio by 4 thousandths of a second: the smallest margin of victory ever recorded in the World Superbike series.  Although Leon was one of the main rivals of Max Biaggi, the "Corsair", he never managed to snatch the title of World Champion from him. He raced for the Ten Kate Honda team in 2013 and in 2014, and moved to Aprilia in 2015 ending his season fourth with 332 points.
